Our Story

The story of 208 Moving LLC doesn’t begin with the company itself, but much earlier when Matt and Drew were navigating the uncertainties of young adulthood. Both initially took the traditional college path, only to discover it wasn’t the right fit. What followed was a period of working various jobs, including time at a Boise moving company, an experience that would later prove more influential than they ever expected.

After a couple of years in the moving industry, they each took on new challenges. One worked for the Forest Service, fighting wildland fires, while the other served in the military. Although these paths were demanding and rewarding in their own ways, both left them reflecting on their long-term direction.

During one of those moments of reflection, they decided to take a leap of faith and bet on themselves. The idea of starting their own Boise moving company took shape, driven by a shared vision for building something better than what they had experienced before. From that decision, 208 Moving LLC was born.

Today, they look back with pride at how far the company has come. The journey has not only shaped a local business, but has also given them a deep appreciation for the challenges that come with change, growth, and the responsibility of helping people through major transitions.

As 208 Moving LLC continues to evolve, the focus remains the same, providing dependable local and long-distance moving services throughout Idaho, built on experience, hard work, and trust.

Outside of work and school, he enjoys hiking and exploring Idaho, lifting weights, and attending any concerts he can.

Ted
Office Manager

They call me the tail-end specialist on the moving crew, and not just because of my nubby tail. What I lack in opposable thumbs I make up for in enthusiastic barks and a paw-sitive attitude. With a dinnertime of 4pm sharp I keep the crew on schedule. No matter how ruff the job gets, as the top dog on the team, I'm always here to lend a paw

Office Personnel

All of our movers have undergone a background check and supervisory training upon being hired.
